Behind The Project

very business has milestones in their development, which they can look back on as turning points in their growth and evolution. In December 2010, we experienced one of those milestones with our inaugural custom-designed WordPress website.

Every site we now produce for a client is based on this excellent system, mainly because of its ease-of-use, flexibility for website design, and its “search engine friendliness”. We just think it’s awesome (and we don’t throw that word around the office very much).

The Twin Peaks Group had very specific ideas as to how they wanted their new site to look yet also needed to be able to update it themselves so the challenge was two-fold:

  1. Meet their branding standards
  2. Integrate WordPress 3

After several rounds of design, we created 3 WordPress template pages in total: home, blog home, and site. Using these 3 templates, we then built the entire 20-page site in WordPress then handed over the reins.

After several bumps and tutorials, the client is now up and running with their new “toy” and is pretty happy with the result.
